Sustainability: suitcases must be durable

If there’s one thing I’ve worn out endlessly in my life as a flight attendant, apart from hundreds of pumps and several tons of hairspray, it’s suitcases. For some time now, however, I have found a new favorite brand.

Welcome to my travel blog!

Hey, I’m Tatiana and I’m the blogger behind The Happy Jetlagger. Since 2014, I’ve been sharing my personal travel stories on this blog. I don’t have a big team behind me, so I’m pretty much a one-person show: I’ve researched and tested all recommendations myself!

If you follow me on Instagram during my travels, you won’t have missed it: I now mainly travel with luggage from Horizn Studios*. I like the clean look, the sense of practical details and the fact that even frequent travelers like me simply can’t break them.

Horizn Studios: Minimalist design & super practical

In particular, I use the ingenious Horizn Studios M5 Smart*(full review here) in heavy rotation when flying: uniform blouses in, uniform blouses out, quickly wash everything through and off I go again. Since the pandemic, I’ve been traveling almost exclusively with hand luggage and without an additional large suitcase; and on private trips, my camera equipment fits really well in the M5, so it’s actually always with me somehow.

The only disadvantage: Due to all its features (power bank, laptop compartment with a fixed cover, dozens of lined inner pockets, protected handle bar), the M5 Smart is somewhat heavier.

The new Horizn Air series: Light as a feather yet stable.

Horizn Studios recently launched a new series on the market: at first glance, the Air series doesn’t look much different from the classic product line, but it is designed to be ultra-light and yet durable.

What strikes me as soon as I unpack it is the weight. The H5 Air is really light as a feather. According to the specifications, it should only weigh 2.1 kilograms, which is quite remarkable. Despite the low weight, it seems stable.

The outer material is slightly thinner than the standard models, but much more flexible. Incidentally, you can hardly tell the difference when you look at it from the outside!

I opted for a black model again, which simply goes best with the uniform and all other outfits.

Only the bare essentials are fitted inside, but the case is still fully lined.

There is no bulky (and heavy) packing plate. However, both sides are divided by a mesh divider with a zipper so that nothing can slip around. Perfect for packing used laundry or shoes separately, for example.

Best of all, the new Horizn Studios H5 Air is available at an unbeatable price! You won’t find any other suitcase this cheap at Horizon Studios! (And with my code you even get a 20% discount on top!)

The H5 Air is available in three colors: All Black, Night Blue & Light Quartz Grey

By the way, the snow-white check-in suitcase is unfortunately not (yet?) available as Air, but the color just looks so great in summer! You can see it in the store here:
