My tip for a Thai cooking course in Chiang Mai<\/strong>: Some providers offer their cooking courses on farms outside the city center. The area around Chiang Mai is super green and very scenic! You can get out of the city for a while and get a taste of the countryside. My course also included a ride on a local train.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Country life in Thailand: During the lunch break of the cooking course, the surroundings are explored.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

During the lunch break, we were able to borrow one of the (rickety, but numerous) bicycles and explore the area around the farm on our own. Real country life in Thailand!<\/strong> The area around Chiang Mai is very rural and offers a great contrast to the bustling city. This way you can get to know a little more authentic Thailand at the same time.<\/p>\n\n
