Resources & Tools

Where do you get the best hotel deals? What insurance do you need? Where do you book the cheapest flights? And what is the best way to get from A to B?
Check out my favourite travel tools to save you time and money!

Tours & Activities

I always book excursions on GetYourGuide* when I’m out and about! Although I like to travel individually, some places are best visited on a tour, and GetYourGuide has a huge selection!

As the name suggests, Tiqets* only offers admission tickets – but pretty much all important sights around the world can be found here. What I love about Tiqets: You always have all your tickets in one place.

Hotels & Accommodation

I book most of my hotels and accommodation via Booking*. With the Genius program, you can get goodies such as free breakfast or room upgrades with just a few nights’ stay, as well as really good discounts later on.

I always like to use Airbnb for more private accommodation or when I can’t find anything suitable on Booking. However, I often travel spontaneously, and that is sometimes more difficult with Airbnb.

To research flights, I use search engines like Skyscanner or Opodo*. I’ll check the times and, if necessary, the best transfer options.

Then I buy directly from the airline. When purchasing via booking platforms, you may first have to deal with the platform itself in the event of changes. However, if things get more complicated, it may make more sense to book there.

As a flight attendant, I’m not impartial of course, but I am happy to recommend Lufthansa*, Eurowings* and similar airlines from the Lufthansa bubble.

My request to you!

Some links are affiliate links, i.e. I usually receive a small commission. However, I don’t recommend any service or product that I haven’t already used myself and found to be good.

If you would like to support me and my blog, I would be very happy if you think of me when planning your next trip and book via one of these links – this will help me not only to continue to offer this blog as I have done so far, but also to continuously improve it.
